Defiance Has Fallen is a Main Quest in Fallout 76. The aim of this Main Quest is to find and activate the Circuit Breaker in Fort Defiance. Quests are objectives that the player may complete to obtain special rewards for their participation in the wasteland activities.

Search For Defiance

Looking for Fort Defiance is not straightforward as you need to find clues to its location. Start at Camp Venture, by taking route 65 south and continuing in the same direction even after the road turns east. When you arrive, you'll find the Command Center in the upper level. However, the room is locked and a password is required to unlock it. Peek into the Terminal and an objective will appear to help you find the password a lot easier, as it will be marked on the map.

Head to the lower area of the camp and there will be a Storage an Supplies building with a fallen sign next to its green door. Proceed inside then downstairs. Down here, pick the locks on the doors to reach the the locked door at the end. There will be some notes on the right of the door that when read, you'll get another optional objective to find the key to unlock it.

Finding the Key

Head back up to the upper level of the area and there will be a building south of the Command Center building; enter it. There will be a locker in here (marked on the map) that you can loot to find a key to the closet. Head back down to the basement of the Storage and Supplies building to open the door. The note on the table in here will give you the password to the Terminal earlier.

Head back to the Terminal to insert the password then finally enter the room. There will be two tables in this room, one of which will hold a Letter to Tommy, which reveals For Defiance's location.

What happened to the Brotherhood?

Head southwest of Camp Venture to reach Fort Defiance, which is abandoned and was built out of an old asylum. So you'll need to get the power going by flipping the circuit breaker located on the highest floor. To reach it, simply head down the hall and up the stairs until you reach the top floor. Once here, you'll notice most of the floor to be destroyed so be careful not to fall through. Head through the door on the left and continue over the narrow walkway then take the right doorway. Continue along until you reach the circuit breaker. Flip it then head downstairs.

 Continue approaching the objective marker and it will lead you to a hole that will bring you back in front of the locked room from the beginning. There will be a note that you can read, which will also end the quest.
