Earth Mover is a Side Quest in Fallout 76. Side Quests can provide various of rewards from XP to caps. They are displayed under the section "SIDE" of the Pip-Boy.

Earth Mover Walkthrough
To begin the quest, simply claim the workshop in Mount Blair and follow your quest marker to a control room - you will need to access the terminal and collect intel on how to operate the Rockhound. Eventually, you'll learn that you will need to craft or locate four Ignition cores and attach it to its reactor; as soon as you attach the ignition cores, the Rockhound will begin to make a loud noise that will attract enemies.
Now, the main objective is to defend the Rockhound from the wave of enemies that appear for at least 30 minutes of depositing metal until the Ignition Cores run out of power. Be sure to put your focus on the reactors since that is what the enemies will attack. - if it gets damaged, you will need to fix it in order for the Rockhound to continue running.
Complete the quest by fending off the enemies within the time limit until the Ignition Cores are worn out.
