Distinguished Guests is a Fallout 76 Public Event. In Event: Distinguished Guests, Players are to Help Mr. Billingsley set up for his Halloween gala. Public Events are temporary events which are usually quests that provide unique rewards during that event being happening.

Late to the Party
When arriving at Bolton Greens you'll receive a message that activates this quest, and it'll tell you to speak to Billingsley so follow the indicator to reach him. This area is infested with a bunch of Scorched, so be prepared to fight your way in. When you find him, he'll conduct a very short interview then instruct you to get the Robot Waitstaff back to working. There's a total of 5 of these that you'll need to find and interact with, all of which can be found by following the objective markers.
Once this is completed, you'll be tasked to find 24x Place Settings and 6x Centerpieces, and set them up in the room you met Billingsley when you're done. You can find these all around the town of Bolton Greens.
Bring a Buddy
This is considerably easier to do with a few teammates as the Scorched don't seem to let up and will begin attacking the Robot Waitstaff, in which case you'd have to repair them within a very limited time frame. That and the time limit on searching for all the pieces will also mean more people looking can definitely speed things up and alleviate the workload on you.
Once you've gathered all the Waitstaff in the function room, collected and placed all the table settings, and kill any undesirables (enemies) in the function room, you'll complete the mission and receive your reward.
Journal Entries
- Billingsley, the Maitre d' at Bolton Greens is looking for people to help get the function room ready for a Halloween gala.
- We need to find the robot waiters and bring them back to work. They're on break, somewhere on the grounds.
- The special decorative place settings and floral centerpieces have been misplaced. We have to find them and set the tables before the gala begin, while keeping out any unwanted guests.
- We've finished setting up early. Now we just need to guard against any uninvited guests until the Halloween Gala begins.
