The Mistress of Mystery is a Side Quest in Fallout 76. Side Quests can provide various of rewards from XP to caps. They are displayed under the section "SIDE" of the Pip-Boy.

The Mistress of Mystery Walkthrough
After completing Seeker of Mysteries, head back to Riverside Manor and access the Cryptos terminal - this time, log in using Olivia Rivers ID followed by [Administrative Actions], [Authorize Access], [Authorize Access - Headmistress' Office] and find your ID. After you've gained access, head up the west steps and use the hand scanner to enter the headmistress' office. Now, the next objective is to access the terminal. You can read through the other entries but what's important is choosing [From Olivia] - your objective will update after reading the entry.
Next, head to the manor itself, go up to the second floor and follow your quest marker to Olivia's terminal. You will need to read through each entry in order to acquire the location of the meeting place which is found northeast of Top of the World - you can choose to fast travel to Pleasant Valley Cabins and continue on foot or trek your way from Riverside Manor to the marked location, whichever you choose make sure you are well equipped and stocked with aid items since you will encounter enemies such as mole rats and robots along the way.
Once you've arrived at the meeting place, you will find the corpse of Shannon and Olivia Rivers - loot their bodies, listen to the holotape, recover all of the items, and head back to the manor.
When you've returned, head down the facility and access the Cryptos Terminal. Log in using Shannon Rivers ID, followed by [Adminstrative Actions], [Authorize Promotion], [Authorize Promotion - Mistress of Mystery], and choose your ID. Now, log back in using your account to claim your new title and become a full-fledged member of the Order of Mysteries - a new holotape entitled "Order of Mysteries - Rank: Mistress" will also be added to your Pip-Boy, listen to it after accessing the terminal.
This ends the chain of side quests for the faction Order of Mysteries.
Notes & Notable Loot
- Always equip the Veil of Secrets whenever entering the underground facility in Riverside Manor.
- The Eye of Ra strengthens the Mistress of Mystery's items by amplifying its power or effects. However, in order to use it, the player must be wearing the Garb of Mysteries.
