Armor is protective clothing in Fallout 76. This page features the many Armor sets and parts in the game as well as their stats and the manner by which you can obtain them.

Fallout 76 Power Armor is described as the strongest sets of armors in the Fallout 76. There are multiple power armor sets in the game, and just like Fallout 4, you'll have to strip off all the actual armor to leave a bare frame before you can get in it. Although you can wear the power armor frame at any level, you will need to be the appropriate level to equip any of the actual armor pieces on it.

How to use Power Armor in FO76

All Power Armors have a frame, and several pieces which are added to this frame to confer various bonuses. Power Armor bonuses can include increased strength, boosted damage resistance, and immunity to falling damage, among many others.

Like in Fallout 4, you need a fusion core to make them function - without a fusion core, you can wear your Power Armor frame, but you won't be able to run, use power attacks or the flashlight, or aim with VATs. You can get more Fusion Cores to power your Armor back up by crafting them or searching in abandoned Fusion Generators around the map.

The last Power Armor suit you used will be linked to you, meaning it cannot be stolen by other players. But be careful, only one Power Armor can be linked to you at a time: though you can own more than one, it seems that only the first is bound to your player. If you walk too far from your Power Armor you will receive a warning: 10 seconds later all the parts of your Power Armor will be moved to your inventory. If you die inside your Power Armor, you will respawn in it.

Power Armor Trivia and Notes

Fusion Cores return as the power source of Power Armor, but Fallout 76's fusion cores last longer than in Fallout 4. Fusion cores can be found in Generators throughout Appalachia.
Power Armors can be placed into your Inventory so that you don't have to leave them out somewhere (use 'collect' option after claiming the frame. Place it back down using your Pip-Boy). An empty Power Armor frame weighs only 10lbs, but the pieces weigh a lot more, so beware of carrying too many sets of Power Armor around with you!
Extra Power Armor frames beyond the one bound to you can be dropped into a bag and looted by others, allowing you to gift or trade them.
Power Armor frames you find will have random pieces of Power Armor attached (which you must remove before you can get into the frame). The randomization of these pieces is not affected by your level, so you might find a piece of Armor at level 10 that you need to be level 20 to use.

A Power Armor frame without any Power Armor pieces will still give you some bonuses, such as 60 damage resistance and immunity to fall damage. A Strength bonus confers a Strength value of 11 to the wearer when using a frame, regardless of the model you apply to that frame.
Different models of Power Armor are now locked by level. The more advanced a model is, the higher a level you will need to be to use the parts of that particular model (eg you must be at least level 15 to use Raider Power Armor, or level 25 to use a T-45).

Power Armor frames can now be scrapped into materials.
Mods and customizations return to Fallout 76, including a jetpack and a new model of T-51 which specializes in mining, giving the user a bonus to the materials collected.

Location & Where to find the Power Armors

Most Power Armor locations will have a fusion core nearby, so if you find a fusion core, it's worth checking if there's an armor power around. (Note that the respawn time of power armors is uncertain: you may need to check the spawn location of power armors multiple times if someone else has recently taken it. )
