Reclamation Day is a Main Quest in Fallout 76. The aim of this Main Quest is to create your character, and act as an introduction to the world of Appalachia. Quests are objectives that the player may complete to obtain special rewards for their participation in the wasteland activities.

Reclamation Day Walkthrough
Reclamation Day is the first quest players would encounter after starting the game. Once you've created your character, grab your Pip-Boy located beside the door of your room and take the time to familiarize yourself with the basic mechanics/movement of the game before you step out. You can also check the terminal in your room to play a Holotape: Nuka Tapper.
After you're done, head out of your room and follow the directions of a Vault Boy cardboard cutouts point out to or simply follow the yellow marker on your screen which will bring you to various tables containing items. Along the way you will pick up the following:
The last table will have a pen, black rim-glasses, and perk cards. Collecting these items will give you 200 XP, this will also allow you to choose your preferred Stat for the first time and equip your Perk Card - you can also click here to learn more on Stats.
After collecting the items, continue straight ahead to reach the vault door and Alderton. Interact with the robot to open the door and leave the vault. The first quest will be completed once you're out of Vault 76.
