X-01 Power Armor is a Power Armor in Fallout 76. Like all other power armors, you'll have to strip off all the actual armor to leave a bare frame before you can get in it. Each power armor has a frame and several pieces, they can provide various bonuses like increasing strength, boosting all forms of damage resistance and making you immune to falling damage. You need a Fusion Core to power this armor.

The top of the mountain as far as Energy Resistance is concerned, the X-01 Power Armor is definitely in the upper echelon for reasons beyond its level requirements. While other sets handle physical damage a good deal better, the X-01 set can tank Energy attacks like, well...a tank! If combating Scorchbeasts and radioactive anomalies is in your near future, it might be in your best interest to take this mobile panic room for a spin.

X-01 Power Armor Location/Where to find

The main frame and armor pieces of each power armor will have their bonuses.
In the Whitespring Bunker. After completing the quest "Officer on Deck" go into the Command area and go to the terminal in the back after the room with the pentagon-shaped table in it. After arriving at the Archive Terminal, go into it and mosey on down to the "Schematics" section. The blueprints are waiting for you.
