Fallout 76 Mirelurks are animals found in West Virginia. They are amphibous crustaceans that are extremely tough due to their shells. Their faces which is the most vulnerable area to deal damage and the easiest way to deal with them.

Fallout 76 Mirelurk is an Enemy in the game. Mirelurks are a family of evolved crustaceans that have made themselves the masters of sewers and caves in the post war wasteland. Enemies are creatures, robots and contraptions that are hostile to the player and may be defeated to complete Quests or obtain Loot.

You find Mirelurk enemies at the following locations:

• Large body shell which surrounds the entire body. The armor itself has a high damage resistance but there are parts specifically the face has no armor lining and are extremely valuable.

Exterminator Legendary Effect increases damage dealt to Mirelurks and Bugs by 50%
