Ecological Balance is a Daily Quest in Fallout 76. Daily Quests can provide various rewards from XP to caps.

These quests are displayed under the section "DAILY" of the Pip-Boy. They can be repeated every 24 hours.

  4. Retrieve Amy's terminal password

Ecological Balance Walkthrough

To start this quest, head towards a trailer located on the north side of Tygart water treatment, retrieve the holotape "Message for Jeff", and listen to it. When you're done, access Amy Kerry's terminal, choose [Messages], followed by [Date Night?]. As soon as you read the entry, your quest marker will update your location to Cow Spots Creamery.

Once you've reached the destination, head inside where you'll find Amy's body - take the note she left with the password on it and head back to the trailer in Tygart water treatment. When you arrive, access Amy's terminal again and choose [Environmental Monitoring Progam], then [Establish Portable Device Link].

The quest marker will now update your map to three different locations to collect an air, water, and soil data. Simply follow the marked locations on your map since it changes for each player who runs the quest.

Now, once you've obtained all of the data, make your way back to the trailer and upload it in Amy's terminal - the option [Begin Data Processing] will appear once you've uploaded all of the data, choose it and the quest will be completed.
