Uncle Sam is a Main Quest in Fallout 76. The aim of this Main Quest is to find Sam Blackwell's Bunker. Quests are objectives that the player may complete to obtain special rewards for their participation in the wasteland activities.

Uncle Sam's Notes
Head over to Charleston Herald and follow the marker into a building that is close. Use this building to get to the upper floor of the Herald where you'll find Sam Blackwell Interview Notes in a box of papers. This gives you the location of his bunker so visit it, on the east side of the map inside the Abandoned Waste Dump. This area can be found by heading east of Route 65 in the Mire, and is crawling with Deathclaws so be wary!
Uncle's Bunker
When you reach this radioactive dump site, you may find it a bit hard to locate the entrance with all the enemies crawling about, however, you'll know you're there when you find an elevator. Attempt to take it up to complete the mission at hand, and continue onto the next.

If you enter the bunker before finishing the quest 'Belly of the Beast', then the 'Uncle Sam' quest is skipped.
