Gilman Lumber Mill is one of the Locations within the The Forest region in Fallout 76 (FO76). Players can access locations by progressing in the game's story and as part of Side Quests. Some Locations are seemingly inconsequential, but can reward players with special Equipment and Items.
The Gilman Lumber Mill consists of two ruined warehouse buildings, slowly but surely becoming engulfed in overgrowth. In spite of its poor condition, the Mill is inhabited by a couple of robots that mean no harm most of the time, and Ticks that certainly do. Although the radiation levels can be off-putting, the low-leveled loot available in the area is perfect for early-stage exploration.
This abandoned Lumber Mill is still tended by a few robots, roaming the yard and nearby area. Two run-down warehouses and the lumberyard provide a few initial scavenging opportunities, but not much else.
